DHS want to take over election process; People's liberties wilting away again

As far as I'm concerned, a rebellion over Hillary getting elected would either need to be put down by the government, or it would result in America quickly losing any semblance of power it had as the population rebels over the 'wrong' leader getting elected via 'dishonest' means again and again.

This entire thing is complete insane, a rebellion is something that no one except the naive, overconfident, or ignorant want. It's costs even upon success are far too high.

I was referring to technology such as drones.

Do you really think cost would be the main concern of a Government quelling a rebellion?
You can buy drones the military uses, if you want to pay the same price. Legally. You can outfit them the same way legally, with registration too but if you're fighting a rebellion I doubt you're going to bother taking the time to register them.

And this solves the fact that America's reputation goes down the toilet how? Or the fact that this sets up a new precedent of violent acts over the wrong President getting elected via "rigging it?"

Reputations are tarnished all the time. The tree of liberty is thirsting for some blood right now, though.

Yeah, and the average joe who's rebelling is gonna be well-versed enough in how to operate the many drones that he picks up with his massive amount of disposable income, right?

Well, the tree of liberty had best come back to reality and see that nothing's going to be rigged.

And how many would the average rebel be able to obtain?

They'd have to obtain them after the rebellion started (if they're not registered), and the Government would force a lockdown on transactions of weapons if they're smart, unless the people selling them are part of the rebellion, in which case they'd be dealt with ASAP.

Like I said in my previous post, it depends on a variety of factors. Preparation is key, whether it's for a rebellion or to fend off foreign invaders. The average person, not likely because of the channels required to obtain them.

There's always the option to capture military arms and vehicles though.

I don't think you should be making fun of people who watch anime on a message board dedicated to anime ;)

Novacane for the pain

Threads gotten ridiculous. Not only is the topic baseless in the first place it's gotten to, well, this. Locking.

From now on, I'm locking any political topics where the OP does not contain a reputable source for any claims made.
